Für die Weiterentwicklung der therapeutischen Optionen beim Parkinson-Syndrom ist es unabdingbar seine Ätiopathogenese zu verstehen. Hierfür sind Modelle der Erkrankung wichtig. Bisher besteht ein Mangel an geeigneten humanen Zelltypen, die als Substrat für Entwicklung eines in vitro -Parkinson- Modells verwendet werden können. In der vorgelegten Arbeit wurde die Eignung von verschiedenen humanen Blutzellen als Substrat für die Etablierung von zellulären Parkinsonmodellen bzw. von Zellkulturen zur Erforschung der Ätiopathogenese der Erkrankung überprüft.
