The seven astronauts who are about to embark on a Long Duration Mission (LDM) have decided that they would like to have female companionship. "Lady Bliss," designed by the mad scientist Dr. Eveready, is cautiously welcomed by the astronauts. Fast forwarding back. A Solar Gulf Stream washes "Lady Bliss," onto the shores of the Planet Azii, where she is thought to be the re-incarnation of Mali, the It Being.
