Vier explorative Fallstudien an den Universitäten Heidelberg, Mainz und Oldenburg sowie an der Technischen Universität München werden interdisziplinär ausgewertet. Die Autorin analysiert Finanzbuchhaltungssysteme auf operativer Ebene und Führungsinformationssysteme auf strategischer Ebene. Betriebswirtschaftliche und organisationstheoretische Ansätze dienen der Ermittlung organisatorischer, personeller und technologischer Erfolgsfaktoren. Informationssysteme können erst dann erfolgreich eingeführt werden, wenn technologische Neuerungen mit organisatorischen Veränderungen abgestimmt sowie von den relevanten Personen akzeptiert und unterstützt werden. Heide Klug ist am Fachbereich Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften der TU Darmstadt im Fachbereichsmanagement tätig.
