Für Verbindungen im Holzbau werden häufig selbstbohrende Holzschrauben eingesetzt. Diese können oft mit geringen Abständen untereinander und zu den Bauteilrändern angeordnet werden. Durch die Einhaltung von Mindestabständen und Mindestholzdicken soll hierbei ein Versagen des Holzes durch Aufspalten verhindert werden. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde ein Verfahren entwickelt, mit dem sich die Anforderungen an Abständen und Holzdicken effizienter und zuverlässiger als bisher bestimmen lassen.
