Die Arbeit behandelt die Thematik Selbstverwirklichung und Ethik. Zunächst wird die Thematik der Selbstverwirklichung beschrieben. Es folgen einige grundsätzliche Überlegungen zur Ethik, bevor der eudämonistische, der ökologische, der vertragstheoretische Ansatz und der ethische Ansatz von Immanuel Kant mit der Selbstverwirklichung in Beziehung gesetzt werden. In einem weiteren Teil werden Konzepte der Selbstverwirklichung und ihr Bezug zur Ethik behandelt. Es werden 15 Autoren angeführt. Zum Abschluß wird die Berücksichtigung der Ethik in der Selbstverwirklichung kritisch betrachtet. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, daß Selbstverwirklichung essentiell mit der Ethik verbunden ist.
