Promise Lost

As the Great Depression ends with the coming of WWII, John Adamson enters the United States Army Air Force. When D-day nears, in 1944, he's flying as a crewman on B-17's in England. There, John meets and falls in love with a young English woman. Even as the two of them plan a life together, fate intervenes. Sergeant Adamson will soon be on the warring earth of the European Continent, amid the retreating German Army.
