Im Vergleich zu konventionell gekühlten Prozessen erwärmen sich Werkstücke bei der Trockenzerspanung deutlich stärker, sodass thermo-elastische Verformungen resultieren. In der Folge entstehen bei den gefertigten Werkstücken unzulässige Form- und Maßabweichungen. Diese Arbeit leistet am Beispiel des Trockendrehens einen Beitrag zur Modellierung, Simulation und Analyse thermo-elastischer Werkstückverformungen, um diese bereits im Vorfeld reduzieren und kompensieren zu können.
