Informationserhalt) und Postedition roher maschineller Übersetzungen mit dem Endziel einer druckreifen einübersetzung (Evaluation nach Posteditionsaufwand). Die bei der Bewertung verwendeten testtheoretischen Grundlagen und statistischen Formeln werden dargestellt. Des weiteren werden folgende Punkte angerissen: Unterschiede zwischen menschlicher und maschineller Übersetzung, für MÜ geeignete Textsorten und Verwendungsgebiete, Verfahren zur Ermittlung der lexikalischen Abdeckung, Bewertung anhand von Einzelphänomenen.
