Roswitha Mairs Biografie erschließt Leben und Werk einer der bedeutendsten Künstlerinnen des 20. Jahrhunderts(1889-1943). Sie unterrichtete viele Jahre an einer Kunstgewerbeschule, betätigte sich als Architektin und beschäftigte sich in ihrer Malerei auf vielfältige Weise mit der Komposition von Form und Farbe. Als Vertreterin der Konkreten Kunst bewegte sie sich still unter ihren Künstlerfreunden der Avantgarde und des Dadaismus und war doch stets sehr präsent. Und sie lebte an der Seite eines anderen Künstlers, der ohne sie nicht konnte und wollte, Hans Arp.
