Reflections on the Sunday gospels of each year of the Roman Lectionary. For each Sunday, Fr. O'Flynn gives the text of the gospel reading, a short introductory note that puts the reading in its liturgical or scriptural context, and he summarizes the Good News of the reading in a sentence or two. He then gives two reflections on each reading, the first normally being a commentary on the text and the second being more reflective and imaginative, relating the reading to the world of today.
