In der Dissertation wird ein Assistenzsystem entwickelt, welches den Fahrer bei Spurwechselvorgängen sowohl bei der Verkehrsraumüberwachung als auch bei der Längs- und Querführung des Fahrzeugs in integrierter Form unterstützt. Zu Beginn wird auf die zugrunde liegenden Teilsysteme Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Heading Control (HC) und die Spurwechselwarnung eingegangen. Danach werden die wesentlichen Fahraufgaben bei Spurwechselvorgängen betrachtet, um daraus Anforderungen an das integrierte Regelkonzept abzuleiten. Das Funktionskonzept wird vorgestellt und in Form eines Regelalgorithmus umgesetzt. Dieser wird in ausgewählten Verkehrssituationen in Closed-Loop-Simulation und mittels Rapid Prototyping in einem Forschungsfahrzeug untersucht und hinsichtlich aktiver Sicherheit und Fahrkomfort bewertet.
