Climate change is a reality and effects are felt differently in different regions and times. Information on climate change and variability is inevitable in decision-making processes in climate-sensitive sectors such as agriculture, water resources, health, energy, and disaster management among others. The information is, consequently, unavoidable in managing the overall burden of climate-sensitive diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa and dealing with challenges in opportunistic infections associated with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). This booklet is a deliberate move by the author that aims at highlighting climate change implications on health and livelihoods that may directly impact on the lives of the people infected and affected by HIV and consequently the management of the infection, in Kenya, a scenario that could be replicated in any sub-Saharan Africa. It is motivated by the fact that weather and climate affect the wellbeing of every species on the planet and adverse changes of climate will definitely affect 'AIDS' business more so in developing countries that are greatly burdened by the same.
