There are several stories within the bible that show relationships that can help fathers form a Christian bond with their son. One example is the story of Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel were brothers. The story shows that Cain became angry and jealous of his brother Abel because Abel offered God a more excellent sacrifice than himself and in a fit of rage he killed him for it.
